Terms of Service

By accessing or using OneMatch (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use OneMatch.

These Terms apply to all users, including:

• Discover users
• Matchmaking users
• Relationship Specialist staff interactions
• Website visitors

OneMatch is a relationship and matchmaking platform that provides:

• A Discover matching system (exclusive one-match-at-a-time experience)
• A human-led Matchmaking service operated by Relationship Specialists
• Chat functionality between matched users
• Optional real-world date planning services

OneMatch is not a dating guarantee service. We facilitate introductions and experiences designed to help users connect.

To use OneMatch, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Complete required verification processes
• Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law

We reserve the right to refuse access to any user at our discretion.

To create an account, you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Provide a valid phone number
• Create a secure password
• Submit profile information
• Complete identity verification (including selfies)

You agree that:

• All information provided is accurate
• You will maintain the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activity on your account

OneMatch requires verification to ensure platform safety.

Verification may include:

• SMS phone verification
• Selfie image submission
• Profile photo review
• Manual review by staff

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that fails verification or is suspected to be false.

OneMatch operates two main user experiences:

6.1 Discover Mode

• Users are matched one at a time
• Exclusive chat is enabled per match
• Users cannot access multiple simultaneous matches

6.2 Matchmaking Service

• Users pay for a human-led matchmaking service
• Relationship Specialists select compatible matches
• Users may receive curated introductions and planned dates

You agree to use OneMatch respectfully and lawfully.

You must NOT:

• Create fake or misleading profiles
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the platform for scams or fraud
• Share illegal or harmful content
• Attempt to bypass verification systems
• Create multiple accounts without permission
• Use bots or automated systems

We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these rules.

All communication must remain within the platform during early-stage matches.

You must not:

• Encourage unsafe off-platform activity during early interaction
• Share malicious links or scams
• Impersonate other users

We may monitor communication where necessary for:

• Safety enforcement
• Abuse detection
• Legal compliance
• Platform integrity

OneMatch uses a structured matching system.

Key rules include:

• Users may only engage in one active Discover match at a time
• Matches may be paused for up to 7 days
• Either user may end a match at any time using “Close Our Chapter”
• Some matches may require mutual agreement before proceeding to dates

OneMatch may facilitate real-world date planning through Relationship Specialists.

Important conditions:

• Dates are subject to availability and approval
• OneMatch does not guarantee compatibility or outcomes
• Users must behave respectfully during all dates
• Safety guidelines must be followed

OneMatch may cancel or refuse to arrange a date if safety concerns arise.

Some services require payment (e.g. Matchmaking service).

By making a purchase, you agree that:

• Prices are displayed in AUD (Australian Dollars)
• Payments are processed securely via third-party providers
• You authorise OneMatch to charge the selected payment method
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

We do not store full credit card details.

Refund eligibility depends on service usage.

In general:

• Completed matchmaking services are non-refundable
• Partial refunds may be considered in special circumstances
• Fraudulent or abusive accounts are not eligible for refunds

Full refund terms are outlined in the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in unsafe or abusive behaviour
• You provide false information
• We are required to do so by law

We may remove access without prior notice in serious cases.

All content on OneMatch, including but not limited to:

• Website design
• Branding and logos
• Text, graphics, and layouts
• Software systems and matching logic
• Relationship Specialist workflows
• Platform features and structure

are owned by OneMatch or licensed to OneMatch.

14.1 User content

By submitting content (including profile photos, bios, messages, and written responses), you grant OneMatch a limited licence to:

• Display your content within the platform
• Use your content to operate matching services
• Store your content securely
• Process your content for safety and moderation purposes

You retain ownership of your personal content.

By using OneMatch, you acknowledge and agree that we may process your data to:

• Operate the matching system
• Improve platform performance
• Maintain safety and security
• Train internal systems for matchmaking efficiency (non-identifying or aggregated data only)

We do NOT sell personal data to advertisers.

OneMatch provides a matchmaking and introduction service only.

We do NOT guarantee:

• That you will receive matches
• That matches will result in communication
• That conversations will continue
• That dates will occur
• That relationships will form
• That any romantic outcome will happen

All interactions are between users, and outcomes depend on user behaviour and compatibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

OneMatch is not responsible for:

• User behaviour inside or outside the platform
• Actions taken by users during or after meetings
• Relationship outcomes
• Emotional distress resulting from interactions
• Losses resulting from misuse of the platform
• Technical issues or downtime

You agree that use of OneMatch is at your own risk.

OneMatch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties that:

• The service will always be uninterrupted or error-free
• Matches will meet your expectations
• Users will be accurate, truthful, or compatible
• The platform will be free from technical issues

We do not guarantee emotional or relationship outcomes.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OneMatch, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, your interactions with other users, or your breach of any applicable laws.

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue by contacting OneMatch support.

If unresolved:

• The dispute will be governed by mediation or arbitration where appropriate
• Legal proceedings may only be initiated after reasonable attempts at resolution

We encourage respectful resolution before escalation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Queensland, Australia.

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or update the platform
• Add or remove features
• Adjust pricing
• Update matching systems
• Change eligibility requirements

Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon deletion:

• Your profile will be removed from active use
• Some data may be retained for legal, safety, or operational reasons
• Chat history may be archived temporarily before deletion

OneMatch uses third-party services including:

• Payment processors
• SMS verification providers
• Cloud hosting providers
• Email delivery systems

We are not responsible for the actions or failures of these third-party services.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in full effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and other legal documents, form the entire agreement between you and OneMatch.

They supersede any prior agreements or communications.

By using OneMatch, you acknowledge that:

• You understand how the platform operates
• You accept responsibility for your interactions
• You agree to these Terms in full
• You understand OneMatch is a facilitation platform, not a guarantee of relationships
