Account Deletion Policy

This Account Deletion Policy explains how OneMatch handles account deletion requests, what information is removed, what information may be retained, and how long data is stored after an account is deleted.

Users may permanently delete their OneMatch account at any time through the Account Settings page or by contacting OneMatch Support.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

Once your deletion request is confirmed:

• Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
• Your account will be deactivated immediately.
• You will be logged out of all devices.
• You will no longer be able to access your account.

The following information will be permanently deleted after the retention period:

• Profile information
• Profile photos
• Biography and personal details
• Match preferences
• Matchmaking questionnaires
• Likes and matches
• Account settings

To protect both users and assist with safety investigations, chat messages may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion.

After this period, chat history will be permanently deleted unless required by law.

Identity verification information, including selfie verification records, may be retained for up to 12 months after account deletion for fraud prevention, abuse investigations, and legal compliance.

Verification data is securely stored and is not visible to other users.

Payment records and invoices are not deleted immediately.

These records may be retained for the period required under Australian tax and financial laws.

OneMatch may retain limited information where necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations.
• Prevent fraud.
• Investigate abuse or safety incidents.
• Resolve disputes.
• Enforce our Terms of Service.

Only the minimum information required will be retained.

Once your account has been permanently deleted:

• Your profile cannot be recovered.
• Your matches cannot be restored.
• Your messages cannot be recovered after the retention period.
• Your matchmaking history cannot be restored.

If you wish to use OneMatch again, you must create a new account and complete the verification process again.

Most account deletion requests are processed immediately.

Permanent deletion of all associated data may take up to 30 days, except where information must be retained for legal or security reasons.

If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by contacting OneMatch Support.

For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

OneMatch may update this Account Deletion Policy from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
